Growth & Governance Workshop
Growth & Governance Workshop

We’re excited to share that the PNW Mass Timber Tech Hub (PNW MTTH) has advanced to Round 2 of the U.S. Economic Development Administration’s FY25 Tech Hubs competition. PNW MTTH is now a finalist—one of just 11 hubs nationwide competing for a share of $220 million in federal implementation funding, and the only Tech Hub finalist based in Washington or Oregon.

With the Round 2 submission due February 18, 2026, we’re pleased to invite you to the Growth & Governance Workshop on January 29 – a critical moment to shape and strengthen the final application. This convening is designed to directly inform the strategy, market focus, and governance framework of the Round 2 proposal – and your participation is essential to getting it right. We hope to see you there!

This workshop brings together partners and stakeholders to align on the future of the Mass Timber Tech Hub and the pathways needed to scale adoption across key markets.

Together, we will:

  • Explore demand creation and adoption pathways across Housing, Industrial/Data Centers, Healthcare, and Military markets

  • Clarify what successful mass timber adoption looks like over the next 5–10 years

  • Identify the resources, partnerships, and Tech Hub connections needed to scale

  • Review and refine the proposed mission, vision, values, and governance framework

  • Align on next steps for supporting the Tech Hub with or without federal funding

Lunch will be provided for registered participants. An optional networking happy hour will follow the workshop, offering additional time for informal connection and conversation.

With funding provided by the US Economic Development Administration to Oregon State University, we are laying the foundation for our shared vision of a globally competitive industry in mass timber. We’re grateful for the expertise and commitment of our consultant partners—and for you, our community.
