The Think Wood Research Library is a database that contains the latest research and resources on mass timber, light-frame wood building systems, and timber bridges. The library includes peer-reviewed academic papers, practical applied research, and a variety of other resources. All content can be viewed by practitioners, researchers, and anyone with an interest in the latest knowledge about wood construction. 


  1. At the top of the research library database main site, there is a main search bar where one may search through the latest research and resources on mass timber.


  1. Below the main search bar, there is an “advanced” search and browse option that may be used to filter and specify a particular search. Here, one may also select a certain topic/field to get a specified list of resources. 


  1. Below the search option, there is a “quick start” option where one may choose to select a certain topic to begin their search.


  1. Once a search has been made, one may use the left side of the screen to filter the search.



  1. Each search option gives the following details: the title of the resource, year of publication, topic, material, and application. One may click below on the “more detail” to expand on these details and view more information on the resource. 


 

University of Minnesota CLT Knowledge Database

The University of Minnesota CLT Knowledge Database provides almost 3000 different resources on CLT research in many forms, including journal articles, conference papers, and more. All content can be viewed by anyone interested in learning about or adopting CLT, including architects, engineers, contractors, developers, industry, government, and the public in general. 


  1. At the top of the CLT knowledge database main site, there is a main search bar where one may search through a number of resources on CLT. The main site also contains a general list of resources available to view, where one can easily scroll through without giving any prior search parameters.



  1. At the search bar, one may choose multiple categories and/or types, and can sort based on year.



  1. Once a search is made, the number of resources available is presented, and one may scroll through to view and navigate the different links.
